5 syawal 1424. Malaysia Di NAgaoka buat open house raya kat Secom Hall. after 5 days of raya only did i get to eat nasi impit and kuah kacang. huhuhu..
guests were from nearby universities ie urasa & niigata, and also members of nutisa (international student association) as well as some japanese frenz.. menu prepared by malaysians: roti jala & chicken curry, nasi impit & kuah kacang & masaklodeh, serunding daging, rendang, nasi minyak, acar, cakes & raya cookies. indonesians prepared bakso & a special delicacy from west java made of tofu which i'd forgotten the name.

sajer sajer jer nak tayang gambor masa gi jenjalan with other ryugakusei. trip skolah to yamagata and miyagi on 11-12th oct 2003. budak mesia yg pegi were azuan, kak N & me.. cik linda x gi sbb "sakit"  .. hehhehe..
hmm compared to my last foreign students trip. trip kali ni x best sgt kot.  x buat kawan baru. kawan dgn kawan2 lama, yanling (china) and manison onechan (myanmar) jer. sbb nyer kali ni bilik tido kat ryokan (japanese hotel) tu diorang dah siap siap bahagikan for muslims jer. pastuh masa dinner party tu pon diorang dah separate kan awal2 saper yg makan daging and yg xder daging. so kiranyer x der chance sgt nak kouryuu ngan orang lain. tak buat kawan baru except for liska, the newly arrived kalimantan girl and other bapak bapak indonesians. sabishii gak trip kali nih..
tempat yg best pon masa second day jer. masa first day tu gi visit temples jer. pastuh dia kasik peluang experience zazen--some sort of meditation in Zen Budhism. isy tp x kuasa la nak gi masuk kuil serah diri kat sami tuh. dah la puasa masa tuh. so in the end duduk tido kat luar temple tuh ngan kak N.. buhsan giler!!
malam tu tido kat ryokan yg ada onsen @ spa resort kat miyagi. so far dah dok bertahun2 kat nippon nih, x pernah lagik masuk onsen (hot spring). tp x rasa rugi pon. x kuasa nak tengok orang bogel2 nih  .. x macam ada 2 orang minah tu... 0) pantang jumpa onsen terus nak terjun. pastuh cakap x leh tengok orang2 yg diorang jumpa dlm onsen tuh dengan hanya satu pandangan jer. haiya!!
on the last day tu, tried my hand on ceramic pottery making. yappari i'm not an artisan; buat ntah hapa2 ntah. i appreciate art, but not one to make art. tp my masterpiece ni not so ugly-looking la bila dah siap (baru jer dapat balik last 2 weeks) and i put it for display in my living room.

selamat hari raya maaf zahir batin halalkan makan minum.
gambar2 masa solat raya di secom hall, open house rumah abg sam-betik (nasi kerabu n rendang ayam) & kak izan-abg din (nasi daging n mihun sup). alhamdulillah ingatkan x makan raya dah hari ni.. but still x rasa rendang ketupat n the usuals at home: lontong n ayam masak merah khas raya arwah nenek-style..
insya allah tahun depan dapat raya kat rumah. amiin..

hari ni ahad 28 ramadhan. its either lusa or the day after raya akan tiba. meaning today is the last iftar together kat kaikan (international student house). so amik la gambar buat kenangan.
it is the custom for malaysians and indonesians community in nagaoka to take turn to prepare food for iftar every saturday and sunday. the iftar is open for all muslim students and their families in nagaoka where we get to break our fast together and then perform the tarawikh prayers afterwards. usually there is a short tazkirah before tarawikh starts.

today's my dearest fren, diana's birthday. her 22nd. she was the only one who never forget my birthday (she missed this year's, but that understandable.. she's been under a lot of pressure).
she was more like a sister than a fren to me. she was even close to my family. my mom n dad love her very much. when she joined us for family outings, my mom would tell people that she's her daughter, and they'd believe. they'd say she's the elder sis n i'm the younger. said that she takes more of my mom while i take more on my dad's side. hahaha...
i'm talking in the past tense. yeah past tense.. we're taking different routes now.
she's my dearest fren. she will always be..
